Tell us about your fitness journey.
I have been a member Oz Fitness since college. I would go to the gym occasionally mostly when “encouraged” by my husband which was 1-2 times a month. I had no idea what to do when I walked into the gym so I would bring a book or magazine to read while riding the bicycle or walking quickly on the treadmill. At one point I joined Curves for a year, after about a month this too became boring as it was the same thing over and over again. I dropped this membership after one year.
Why did you initially join Farmgirlfit? What was your goal when you started?
I initially joined FGF to get my husband off my back about losing weight as well as give my friend who wanted to join company. My goal was just to try it out two times a week for a month to see how I liked it — that was 13 months ago. I have also increased “farming” to 3 times a week.
What has been your greatest fitness (performance) accomplishment so far?
Dead lifting 85 pounds and front squat to overhead press 75 pounds.
How has FGF helped you become more healthy? When it comes to your health, what goals do you have?
I only go out for lunch one time a week instead of five! I would eventually like to become vegetarian.
